On his profile on the social network X, the head of State published a phrase said 40 years ago by the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, in his speech at the 7th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, at the Palace of Culture, in New Delhi, India, on March 7, 1983.

“Never before had the Palestinian cause seemed so just than in contrast with the repulsive brutality of its adversaries. Mankind shall never forget the heroism of the aggressed nor the barbarity of the aggressors.”

According to Palestinian non-governmental organizations, since October 7, more than 10,000 Palestinians, including more than 4,000 minors, have been killed in the Gaza Strip as a result of the indiscriminate bombings by Israel’s aircraft against the civil population.
