Under the auspices of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Cuban Ministry of Communications (MINCOM), America Accessible will promote digital inclusion and the empowerment of all people, regardless of age, gender, ability, or geographic location.

This year, ITU celebrates the tenth anniversary of América Accessible, which is ITU’s leading regional platform focused on ICT accessibility.

The event aims to strengthen the knowledge of the ITU members on policies and strategies of digital inclusion and the exchange of good practices to ensure the accessibility of telecommunications products and services. The Accessible America 2023 regional event, starting this Wednesday through November 10, will count on local sign language interpretation and provide a training opportunity in ICT accessibility to help the continent continue development in this area.
