In its denunciation, ASPPRO President Nydia Bauza stated that over 30 journalists have lost their lives reporting on their duty.

In this regard, she pointed out that in one of the bombings by the Israeli military forces in Gaza, the Al Jazeera correspondent Wael Al-Dahdou´s wife, teenage son, young daughter and grandson were killed.

ASPPRO reported that, in addition to the journalists killed and media destroyed, a wave of repression, harassment, arrests and obstruction of the work of reporters and correspondents is recorded, limiting the international community’s ability to know with certainty what is happening in the Gaza Strip.
