In an updated report, the Ministry of Health explained that of the total number of dead, 10,305 were killed in Gaza and 163 in the West Bank.
As a consequence of the incessant bombings of civilians, 4,237 children, 2,719 women and 631 elderly people are among the dead, said the government agency, which also reported that some 2,350 inhabitants are missing.
It also indicated that 18 of 35 hospitals and 71 percent of primary healthcare centers in Gaza ceased to function during the period.
In view of Israel’s ongoing attacks by sea, land and air on Palestinian territories, particularly Gaza, several countries have charged that Tel Aviv is committing genocide against the Palestinian people, and have called for the immediate end of the aggression.
