Innocence is massacred in Gaza

Beirut, Nov 7 (Prensa Latina) For hours, Muhammad Shaqura remained under the rubble of his house while the terrifying sound of Israeli missiles ended the lives of hundreds of other children whose Palestinian blood was shed.

The images of the little boy captured by the lens of photographer Belal Khaled expose the absolute horror and savagery committed by Israeli forces against civilians in Gaza, after a month of aggression.

Muhammad is one of the few survivors of the Shaqura family and around him everything is stone, dust and destruction, a consequence of the scorched earth policy that the Zionist army intends to apply.

Next to him, other children shout at the lifeguards and recognize their mothers’ hair among the corpses; these scenes are chilling testimonies of cruelty.

Israeli forces detonated 30 thousand tons of explosives on refugee camps, hospitals, schools, religious centers and homes, in flagrant violation of ethical and moral values and human dignity.

Before the eyes of the world, Israel, supported by its Western allies, attacks an entire population and deprives it of what is essential to survive, under the sole pretext of supposed self-defense.

The United Nations, Pope Francis, presidents, opinion leaders and the majority of the people of the world insist on stopping the genocide and not turning Gaza into the cemetery for Palestinian children.

Israel ignores international law, ignores the policies of the multilateral organization that accepted the founding of its State on Arab land and some of its officials with despicable authority support the possibility of using nuclear weapons.

After 32 days, every 10 minutes Israeli aggression claims the life of a child and the death toll, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, already exceeds 4,200.

Muhammad was born behind a wall imposed by an occupying system and racial discrimination. Israel deprived him of his freedom and ended the lives of a large part of his family. Can humanity turn its face and ignore the innocence massacred in Palestine?
