In declarations reproduced by the Dominica News Online site, police inspector Fixton Henderson said that around 19:18 local time last Saturday, the anti-drug squad found and confiscated 10 bundles of the narcotic that were hidden in the bushes.
Each bundle contained 25 bricks of cocaine with a total weight of 300 kilograms, the official revealed, noting that its value amounts to 8,100,000 Eastern Caribbean dollars (more than 2,997,000 U.S. dollars) and that investigations are still in progress.
