The only thing that remains is to work because if our work is not taken as a fundamental premise, we cannot produce wealth, Díaz-Canel said.
Faced with the new cultural colonization forms, the president proposed to look for different ways to form different critical thinking, defend spirituality, and not tearing us apart, work from communities to the highest levels. Breaking with the platforms that divide the cultural sector is the most dignified thing to do in these times, the head of State pointed out.
There are financed structures to divide our culture, and we have two alternatives: to resist creatively as the most decent and revolutionary thing to do, or to surrender and lose our values with an annexationist mindset, and that is not our goal, or that of the entity, the president pointed out.
The challenge, however, is to promote the best of our Revolution without compromising what has been done, he said.
At the end of the conclave, Díaz-Canel acknowledged the issues concerning the AHS in the face of the current challenges and the organization’s excellent work to face each event.
