In this regard, the Venezuelan Vice President for Economy and Minister of Agriculture Wilmar Castro Soteldo told Prensa Latina that the visit of the Cuban president to his nation’s stand was a source of deep pride and great honor.
The Havana Fair was attended by 51 Venezuelan companies from different sectors: productive, agricultural industrialization, industrial, intermediate industrial, technological, plastic, textile and packaging, the official told this agency.
“A diversity of what in Venezuela we call engines of economic development were present here with the possibility not only to exchange from the commercial point of view, but also to produce jointly in some areas,” Castro Soteldo said.
He assured such is the case of information technology, where we have a joint project in household appliances; in addition to cooperative plans in the textile area, where Venezuelan entrepreneurs are expected to come to produce in conjunction with Cuban companies.
