Such a speech confirms a historic behavior and policy that view the Palestinians in a racist and dehumanizing matter, Fattouh claimed in a statement.
The parliamentarian pointed out such a discourse of hatred is further proof of the incitement campaigns launched by Israeli leadership.
In an interview with Kol Berama Radio on Sunday morning, a journalist asked Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu whether a nuclear bomb should be dropped on the Gaza Strip, to which the minister stated, “It is one of the possibilities.”
Shortly thereafter, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry described such a statement as barbaric and racist.
Those comments are a clear recognition of Israel’s systematic massacres on the occupied territories and a reflection of the incitement campaigns by officials of the Benjamin Netanyahu administration to destroy the Gaza Strip and displace its population, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry denounced.
