On Saturday, the leaders of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa, Zambia Hakainde Hichilema, Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa, and the DRC, Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo are scheduled to arrive.
On Saturday, the summit will focus on the security situation in the DRC following the recent clashes and the violation of the cease-fire.
The representatives of the Community will address the circumstances in the region in view of the electoral processes that are due to take place in the remainder of 2023, and next, including that of the Democratic Republic of Congo on December 20.
