Acosta Danza participates in World Ballet Day

Havana, Nov 1 (Prensa Latina) On the occasion of World Ballet Day 2023, the Acosta Danza company will share a dance class taught by choreographer Susana Pous, a Spanish choreographer living in Havana and director of "Mi Compañía," a Havana-based dance company.

As first dancer Carlos Acosta, director of this company, announced on social media, Cuba will be sharing a contemporary dance class broadcast from Acosta Danza’s headquarters in this capital from 19:30 local time in the United Kingdom and 15:30 local time in Cuba.

The class features the participation of the company’s youngest generation of dancers, all graduates of the Acosta Danza Academy.

World Ballet Day 2023 is celebrated on November 1 with the collaboration of the leading ballet companies of the world, broadcasting live performances and classes, lectures, and interviews.

It is a tribute to one of the most remarkable and recognized artistic expressions globally.
