The FA makes a new call for peace in the face of the increase in civilian casualties in the Israel-Hamas conflict, the press release stated.

Frente Amplio critica postura de gobierno uruguayo en ONU
Montevideo, 31 oct (Prensa Latina) El Frente Amplio (FA) criticó la postura del gobierno uruguayo frente al conflicto entre Israel y la organización palestina Hamas, según define un comunicado de su Mesa Política que trascendió hoy.
“Rechazamos la actuación irresponsable del Gobierno uruguayo en la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas, absteniéndose en la toma de decisión frente a una moción que exigía una tregua humanitaria inmediata, duradera y sostenida”, subraya el FA.
Somos una fuerza política pacífica y pacificadora. Convocamos nuevamente al gobierno uruguayo y a las organizaciones políticas, sociales y religiosas a sumarse a un llamado por la paz, añade.
El Frente Amplio hace un nuevo llamado a la paz frente al aumento de víctimas civiles inocentes en la zona del conflicto entre el gobierno de Israel y la “organización terrorista Hamas”, califica el comunicado.
La Mesa Política Nacional del FA reafirma una vez más que se debe promover el cese inmediato de las hostilidades, exigir la liberación de todos los rehenes y la rápida instalación de una mesa de negociación en búsqueda de la paz, concluye el texto.
