Many of them hide in the facilities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, streets or tents under difficult humanitarian and health conditions, GUPW stressed in a press release. It noted that many of them were forced to give birth in streets, shelters, or tents due to the escalation of violence that broke out on October 7.
It warned of the minimal health conditions due to the lack of medicines, cleaning products, and water due to the total blockade imposed by Israel, which has caused bacterial diseases and infections.
The death of many men has left a large number of widows who are currently forced to head and support their families, exacerbating poverty due to the lack of work and job opportunities, GUPW pointed out.
