Profitable alliance in transportation sector in Cuban province

Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, Oct 28 (Prensa Latina) The profitable alliance between the Provincial Transportation Directorate(PTD) in this central Cuban province and the new forms of economic management is evident today in the different services they provide.

Leandro Lima, PhD in Sciences, chief specialist of the Technical Department of the PDT, detailed that there are 17 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) that also represent the Transportation sector.

About the importance of this alliance, he answered saying to the press that “it influences because we have MSMEs dedicated to the transportation of cargo and passengers, including parcels, as well as they help us in the imports that, as a legal entity, they can make and solve the deficiencies in that sense”.

As for ambulances, he mentioned the recovery of a considerable group of them by some of these MSMEs dedicated to offer general mechanics, body shop and other services.

Leandro Lima represented the stand of the Provincial Directorate of Transportation of Sancti Spiritus in the VII Meeting of Cultural Life and Local Development that took place in this patrimonial city from October 19 to 21.
