The event, entitled “Cuba va conmigo” (Cuba Goes with Me) will be a new opportunity for Cuban artists and intellectuals who live in other countries to share their art with Cuban audiences and with those who visit us, Cubaminrex stated.

The in-person and virtual meeting aims to highlight the work of national cultural figures with consolidated careers abroad and talented young people who carry the identity that unites them with their homeland.

The Ministry of Culture will guarantee spaces for visual art exhibitions, musical and theatrical performances, and logistical support for rehearsals. It will also coordinate broadcasts on Cuba’s Canal Clave (specialized in music) and other promotional programs.

“Cuba va conmigo” will be the leading concept for the performances and messages from artists and writers who cannot attend the event and wish to address the audience, according to the Festival’s announcement.
