The massacres and genocide in the Gaza Strip would not have happened without the open order to kill, the protection and impunity offered by the United States and the West, he said in a statement read by Syria’s acting delegate to the UN, Al-Hakam Dendi, as reported here by the media.

He added that the Israeli criminal war has exceeded all imagination by brutal bombardments that have risen to the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Tel Aviv added another dark and bloody chapter to its criminal record with its barbaric bombardments on the Baptist hospital, St. Porphyry Orthodox Church, the third oldest church in the world, and the UN schools where Palestinians were sheltering thinking that they were safe, the Syrian diplomacy chief said.

He stressed that the main reason for the current escalation is due to the injustice applied to the Palestinian people for decades, in an attempt by Israel to eliminate the Palestinian cause.
