Donation of medical supplies sent from Argentina to Cuba

Buenos Aires, Oct 26 (Prensa Latina) The Argentine Solidarity Movement, the Union of Cuban Residents and the Association of Graduates from Cuba sent medical supplies to Cuba as part of a campaign launched today to break the U.S. blockade.

According to the ambassador of Cuba, Pedro Pablo Prada, the donation is bound for institutions of the Ministry of Public Health of his country and was sent with the support of the humanitarian aid agency Cascos Blancos and the airline Cubana de Aviación.

There is no force in the world that can separate Argentines and Cubans, the diplomat said.

The organizations mentioned above indicated that the shipment exceeds 300 kilograms of priority items for hospital systems, which Cuba lacks, due to the genocidal siege imposed by the United States for more than six decades.

The donated products were acquired thanks to the campaign “With solidarity we break the blockade. Give your hand to Cuba.

Once again, the Argentine people showed their active support to the Revolution and strongly repudiated this infamous siege, the longest in modern history.

The statement of the diplomat stresses that the world demands Washington to end this aggression that only makes the Cuban population suffer for deciding to be free and autonomous from any empire. He added that Cuba is not alone and this will be demonstrated at the next United Nations General Assembly.
