More than 450 delegates and professionals from Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, and Uruguay attended the event, organized by the Hermanos Saíz Monte de Oca University in Pinar del Río.
The forum discussed the challenges of new economic actors, their relationship with local governments, and business opportunities for micro, small, and medium-sized technology-based companies in the agricultural food sectors.
MARDELTUR aims to promote networking, South-South and triangular cooperation among individuals and institutions, and encourage public policies to include several local and sustainable developments in their management agendas.
The attendees addressed in 11 scientific workshops, personally and virtually, issues related to using information and communication technologies in development management, social and solidarity economy, agricultural and community development, and sustainable tourism.
