Senior officials from the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), the Supreme People’s Assembly, the Council of Ministers and the Ministries of National Defense, Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Culture, and China’s Ambassador to North Korea, Wang Yajun, attended the ceremony.

The Korean Committee for Foreign Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the Korea-China Friendship Association were also present.

Similar events were held in other provinces and cities of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
