The Office of the High Commissioner for Peace confirmed that this meeting began on Monday through Wednesday, having heard life and harmonization testimonies, which are carried out within the framework of the National Participation Committee’s call.

“Here are members of the Front Line, signatories of the Peace Agreement with the FARC and of the Military Forces whose lives were changed by the conflict,”Maria Margarita Celis from the Social Movement of Disability Colombia stated.

“One day they returned home with a psychosocial and physical disability. It is time to forgive each other and build peace,” she assured.

People with special needs, their organizations and platforms working to guarantee the full and equal enjoyment of their rights and freedoms, as well as to promote respect for their dignity for the joint construction of peace, are part of different working groups.
