According to the National Women’s Federation of China, the meeting will address theoretical and practical issues on the subject until next Thursday.

The delegates have come from different sectors including industry, agriculture, commerce, science and technology, education, health, press, and publishing.

According to the organizers, the proportion of representatives from the base increased significantly compared to the previous edition, as it reached 69.2 percent of the participants.

The diversity of the delegates is another aspect to be highlighted since the age range extends from 19 to 81 years old.

They also reported that 5.1 percent of the participants work in the scientific and technological sectors.

This congress is held every five years in China and is attended by prominent women in the country’s socio-economic life.
