The Palestinian Health Ministry informed in a press release that as many as 5,087 Palestinians died in Gaza, where 15,273 others were injured.
Meanwhile, the West Bank has so far reported 95 dead and 1,828 injuries.
The Health Ministry condemned that out of the total death toll in both territories, 1,903 were minors, and 70% of the deaths in Gaza were children or adolescents, women, and senior citizens.
The ministry also warned of the rising in smallpox, scabies, and diarrhea cases in that area as a result of the sanitary crisis and the consumption of water from contaminated sources after Israel cut off water and fuel supply.
