The diplomat shared information with the attendees, about the reality of Cuba and the consequences of the blockade for the Cuban people and the arbitrary inclusion of Cuba on the list of state sponsors of terrorism.

Neudys Casanova, in charge of consular affairs, informed participants about the new immigration measures that came into force as of July 1st, 2023, and the 2nd Festival of Cubans Living Abroad “Cuba va Conmigo”.

On the occasion, Casanova referred to the call made for the 4th Nation and Emigration Conference, which will take place in Havana, addressing concerns about various immigration issues.

The participants welcomed the holding of the aforementioned events, which they considered will contribute to deepen the ties of Cubans residing abroad with Cuba, and reaffirmed their commitment to their homeland.
