During a bilateral dialogue, he recalled Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel’s visit to China in 2022 and his meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping at that time and more recently, during the BRICS Summit in South Africa.

Cabrisas is on a working visit to China during which he will co-chair the XXX Session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Commercial and Financial Relations.

According to a press release from the Caribbean Foreign Ministry, the Commission will strengthen the ties between both nations and review and project the main issues of mutual interest, including those related to the scientific-technical area and bilateral cooperation.

As part of his agenda, he visited in Beijing the facilities of the joint venture Biotech Pharmaceutical Limited (PBL), which has had important results in terms of biotechnological cooperation.

At another time, he arrived at the headquarters of the JD e-commerce platform, where the island has the Cuban Pavilion of Excellence.
