The warning was prompted by the presence of a US B-52 strategic bomber for the first time in South Korea, capable of carrying nuclear weapons, explained the state news agency KCNA.
It also claimed that the days when the U.S. arrogated to itself the exclusive right to a preemptive strike are over and stressed that Pyongyang will take the corresponding option to US and Seoul´s provocative actions.
The U.S. and South Korea this year increased the frequency and scale of their joint military exercises involving U.S. aircraft carriers, submarines and advanced bombers under the pretext of the DPRK’s growing “nuclear threats” and missile tests.
