The aspiration is to achieve that by 2025 the Vietnamese female participation in the contingents of blue helmets reaches up to 20 percent, the high official pointed out during the balance of the work deployed by the first team of military engineers and the fourth Field Hospital of second level in South Sudan.

As reported there, the engineering forces supported the Abyei city authorities in digging and dredging more than 20 kilometers of canals and installing 36 drainage sewers, and also carried out medical examinations and provided free medicines.

The fourth field hospital treated 1,468 patients and organized numerous charitable activities to help local people.

It also developed epidemic prevention and control plans and advised the United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan on prevention and control measures for Covid-19, malaria, smallpox and Ebola.
