Rodriguez disclosed this figure during the presentation to the members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Cuba of the National Report on the effects of Washington’s economic blockade against Havana from March 2022 to February 2023.

For more than six decades the United States has unilaterally imposed an economic, commercial and financial blockade on Cuba, which has intensified in recent years, despite the worldwide clamor since 1992 at the United Nations General Assembly for the White House to lift it.
