According to Titov, payments in rubles with the Mir bank cards will soon be accepted in Cuba.

Central Asian and Southeast Asian countries accept this payment mechanism.

Cuban Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Julio Garmendia, said in April that his country expects that Russian tourists could use Mir bank cards this year.
