At an extraordinary meeting arranged by Saudi Arabia in its role as president of the current session, attendees discussed the ongoing Israeli military attack on the occupied Palestinian territories.

The final statement reiterated its support for the inalienable rights and sovereignty of the Palestinian people, in light of the flagrant and unprecedented Israeli aggression and the atrocious massacres committed against civilians in the Gaza Strip.

In such a context, it was called for the immediate cease-fire of the Israeli forces’ onslaught against the Palestinian people and the immediate lifting of the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, it was strongly condemned the bombing over civilians in the Gaza Strip and the entire occupied Palestinian territory, as well as the killings, evictions, deprivation of humanitarian aid and destruction of structures.

The representatives called on countries and the international community to provide urgent medical and relief aid, in addition to the immediate opening of safe humanitarian corridors, even with the United Nations’support.
