On X, formerly Twitter, Díaz-Canel reiterated Cuba’s condemnation “in the strongest terms” of the atrocious crime and demanded an immediate ceasefire between the parties and an end to those flagrant violations of international humanitarian law.

On the same social media, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez described the airstrike on the Palestinian health center as “detestable”

According to press reports, the Palestinian Ministry of Health informed a few hours ago that most of the dead were children and women, which shows that the aggressors intend to attack schools and hospitals and kill innocent civilians.

In a recent statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Cuban Government condemned the deaths of innocent people from all parties concerned in the conflict, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, or religious beliefs.

It also firmly condemned the death of civilians, especially women, children, and workers of the United Nations system, the indiscriminate airstrikes on the Gaza population, and the destruction of homes, hospitals, and civilian infrastructure.
