A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called this act “inhuman and unjustifiable,” adding to the long list of crimes committed in recent days against the civilian population in that portion of occupied Palestine, he noted.
The note stressed that the attacks constitute a clear violation of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, and evidence once again the “policy of apartheid, aggression and extermination” that the State of Israel has perpetrated against the Palestinian people.
Venezuela reiterated its solidarity with the “brother Palestinian people and their legitimate right to self-determination and the consolidation of a sovereign and independent State.”
He called on the international community to “speak out forcefully against the genocide to which the population of Gaza is subjected” and demand the immediate cessation of Israeli aggression.
The Bolivarian Republic urged all States and international organizations to work together to “demand an immediate ceasefire” and put an end to these flagrant attacks on Human Rights.
He also made an urgent call for the immediate establishment of a world conference to restore the rights of the Palestinian people and determine responsibility for these crimes against humanity.
