Hussein Al-Sheikh, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, condemned the massacre and considered it as “unbearable for human reason or the morality of nations”.
What is happening in Gaza is genocide, Al-Sheikh posted on X. We call on the international community to meddle in immediately to stop this massacre. Silence and partiality are no longer acceptable, he added.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh spoke in similar terms, rejecting “the genocidal war against our people”.
We call for the UN Security Council (UNSC)´s urgent intervention to halt the Israeli aggression, Shtayyeh said.
He held the United Nations and countries supporting Israel fully responsible for this crime.
Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Minister, on the other hand, strongly condemned in a statement “the atrocious massacre committed by Israel” and also called for urgent intervention.
The presidential spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeina, claimed that this new massacre confirms that Israel enjoys impunity and does not respect any international norm.
According to health authorities in Gaza, hundreds of people were killed tonight after the bombing.
Israeli Army spokesman Daniel Hagari announced that the report of an airstrike is under review.
