The protests were called by Palestinian forces based in Syria and by local political entities including the National Progressive Front which brings together over 12 parties.
Demonstrators raised banners and chanted slogans condemning Israel´s brutal aggression against north Gaza and claimed absolute solidarity with Palestinians. They asserted the resistance is the only way to liberate Gaza and regain Palestinian rights.
Representatives of Palestinian forces claimed that the Al-Aqsa Flood operation launched by the resistance against Israel proved the incapacity and loss of confidence in the Tel Aviv army and the willingness to resist is stronger than all pressures.
They urged the United Nations and the international community to meddle immediately in halting Israel’s escalated crimes and genocide committed against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The unity and solidarity of Arab, Islamic and free peoples around the world with the Palestinians is needed more than ever to support the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Palestinian forces in Syria affirmed in a press conference on Friday that resistance is the only way left to the Palestinian people to liberate their land and regain their rights.
