According to the Instituto Superior de Sanidad (ISS), Covid-19 deaths amounted to 161, a 17.5% surge compared to the 137 deaths reported from September 28 to October 4.

24 people were hospitalized at ICUs, a figure which accounts for a 25.5% surge, so the country´s ICU hospitalization toll jumped to 118, while those hospitalized with non-severe symptoms increased by 14.4%.

At the moment, 166,119 Covid-19 cases remain positive, of which 162,142 are at home-screening.
