In the context of his visit to the country, the Foreign Minister discussed the latest events in the Palestinian cause and the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

During a press conference in Beirut, the Minister said that the resistance raised all possible scenarios on all other fronts and will determine the zero hour in the event of continuing Israel´s crimes.

The Minister reaffirmed his country’s support to the struggle of the Palestinian people against the Zionist occupation and its attacks against civilians.

Earlier, Abdollahian discussed with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah about the development of the resistance in north Gaza, Palestine and southern Lebanon on the ground.

Referring to this meeting, he stressed: ¨The whole world knows that Sayyed Nasrallah is the man in the field and has always played the most prominent role in achieving the security of Lebanon and the region¨.

During the day, the Iranian foreign minister also held talks with UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland.

At the end of his tour of Iraq, Lebanon and Syria, the Iranian foreign minister stressed that the resistance is in an excellent position and ready to respond to Israeli criminal acts.
