In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry (MINREX), Cuba strongly rejected the death of civilians and innocent people, regardless of ethnicity, nationality or religious faith.
MINREX also strongly condemned the murder of civilians, especially women, children and UN humanitarian workers, as well as the indiscriminate bombing and the destruction of homes, hospitals and civilian infrastructure.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry also denounced the deprivation of water, electricity and fuel services to the Gaza population, actions that constitute serious violations of International Humanitarian Law.
Cuba called on all parties to cease hostilities, provide the arrival of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and discontinue the warmongering rhetoric that has escalated in recent days.
Cuba reaffirmed its support for a comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the conflict between the two parties, based on the creation of two States, which would allow the Palestinian people to exercise their right to self-determination.
