Madelén González-Pardo, tourism counselor at the Cuban Embassy in Italy, told Prensa Latina that the Cuban delegation is made up of representatives of the Cuban hotel chains Gran Caribe, Islazul and Cubanacán Hoteles, as well as foreign hotel chains with presence in Cuba, such as Iberostar, Blue Diamond and Meliá.
Officials and experts from Cuba’s travel agencies, such as Cubatur, Cubanacan Viajes, Ecotur and Havanatur, as well as from the Gaviota Group, Cubana de Aviación airline and Cubasol, an extra-hotel company, will also attend the event.
Marina Marlin and Transtur, two companies that had not attended the event in previous years, will be present.
This event is a key point of reference for the promotion of international tourism in Italy, and this year 55 foreign destinations will be present, with more than 1,000 operators from 62 countries and a total of 2,700 exhibitors.
