Blinken pledges US will never falter from supporting Israel

Washington, Oct 12 (Prensa Latina) Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Thursday pledged that the United States will never falter from its support for Israel as he condemned Hamas’ “litany of brutality and inhumanity” as evoking “the worst of ISIS.”

The Secretary of State embarked on his October 11-13 trip to Israel and Jordan a day after President Joe Biden’s address from the White House in full support of the Zionist regime.

On his X account, Blinken posted he met with @IsraeliPM Netanyahu in Israel to reaffirm America’s unwavering support” for what he considered “Israel’s right to defend itself from Hamas terrorist attacks.”

Shortly before, he added that he was in Israel to make one thing clear: the United States supports Israel and its people,” and stressed that we will always be – resolutely – against terrorism.

In his speech last Tuesday from the executive mansion, Biden said that when Congress (paralyzed after the impeachment of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy) returns he will ask to take pressing action “to fund the national security needs of our critical partners.”

He also ratified that his administration was “ramping up” additional military assistance to Israel.

Over the weekend, the Pentagon announced that the U.S. Navy’s Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier, as well as the guided missile cruiser USS Normandy, the missile destroyers Thomas Hudner, USS Ramage, USS Carney and USS Rossevelt were mobilized.

At the same time, an increase in squadrons of U.S. Air Force F-35, F-15, F-16 and A-10 fighter jets in the Eastern Mediterranean region was reported.

“We are going to make sure that Israel does not run out of these resources,” said the Democratic leader, who did not mention the words “diplomacy” or “peace” in his speech.
