In a joint press conference held at the headquarters of the Palestinean National Council in Damascus, the general secretaries and representatives of these forces called on the peoples of the whole world, particularly the Arab and Islamic nations, to show solidarity and unite to help the Palestinean people resist and win by all means.

According to the secretary general of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine -General Command, Talal Naji, the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, launched by the resistance forces in Gaza proved Israel’s impotence and confirmed that resistance is the only alternative to liberate the land.

While the head of the Political Department of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Anwar Abdel Hadi, stressed the right of the Palestinean people to defend themselves, reiterated the need to preserve the unity of the Palestinian forces and pointed out that the Al-Aqsa Flood battle was in response to the criminal war of the occupier amidst international silence.

For his part, the leader of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Abdul Aziz Al-Minawi, said that the Palestinian people are capable of thinking and making the right decision to respond to the Israeli crimes.

Secretary General of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, Khaled Abdel Majeed, called on the United Nations and the international community to intervene immediately to prevent the crimes of the occupation and genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
