The posters will be on display in the gallery at the Antonio Rodriguez Morey Information Center, where there will be a selection of 55 posters especially made for the 50CHE international exhibition.
In 2017, with such a selection, the Azcapotzalco Unit of Mexico’s Autonomous Metropolitan University (UAM) commemorated the 50th anniversary of the heroic guerrilla fighter’s death in Bolivia.
At the time, it brought together significant designers from 16 countries, who were convened by the higher educational center and the Poster Biennial in Mexico, being Cuban artist Felix Beltran one of the most outstanding exponents.
The posters that the UAM generously donated to the National Museum of Fine Arts in 2019 “are characterized by their sobriety and minimalism, as well as the use of symbols associated with Che, such as the beret and the star,” the institution noted.
