According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is also necessary to implement the two-State solution, which means recognizing Palestine as an independent State.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Wang Wenbin called for “a comprehensive and appropriate settlement of the Palestine issue through political means at an early date, so that the legitimate concerns of the parties can be addressed.”
“We always think that dialogue and negotiation are fundamental to solve the problem. We call on all parties for a ceasefire and an end to the fighting as soon as possible to avoid further deterioration of the situation,” Wang said earlier.
The diplomat further stressed that China is a common friend of both sides, so “we sincerely hope to see Palestine and Israel coexisting peacefully and sharing security and development.”
