The meeting, held at the headquarters of the Angolan Ministry, “was the perfect setting for both parties to assess the current situation in the Middle East, laying stress on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” the statement said.
António also referred to the withdrawal of Angolans living in Israel, which was supported by the Israeli government.
The Director of Africa, Middle East and Regional Organizations at the Foreign Ministry Jorge Cardoso was also present at the meeting.
