According to military sources, for the fourth consecutive day, elements of the Syrian army carried out intense attacks on sites and strongholds of terrorist organizations in several towns in the northern governorate of Idlib .

Reactive and conventional artillery regiments launched intensive bombardments against extremist targets on the outskirts of the provincial capital of Idlib and against irregular checkpoints at the entrances and exit from the city.

More than 20 terrorists were killed in an attack of the army on headquarters in the vicinity of the city of Ariha and in the neighboring towns of Kafr Lata, Musaybin, Marablit and Al-Mastouma.

Local activists confirmed that an ammunition depot of the radicals was destroyed near the city of Al-Mastouma, where Turkey’s largest military base is located.

They added that the Russian aviation had struct drone launching platforms of the “Islamic Party of Turkistan” in the city of Jesser Al-Shugur.

The Syrian army recently intensified its response to radical group’s offensive, in order to neutralize the latter’s ability to attack civilian communities near their deployment areas.
