The terrorist act is a product of the hostile intentions of internal and external forces to put obstacles in the Syrian government’s efforts to resolve the crisis and push forward the reconstruction of the country, the Foreign Ministry said.

The ministry added that the enemies of Syria persist in their ambition to overthrow the legitimate power of the Arab country by creating instability and fear.

We categorically condemn the present terrorist act as an open violation to Syria’s sovereignty and its people’s anxiety for a peaceful and happy life, and express our deep condolences to the victims and their families, the Ministry said.

We take this opportunity to reaffirm the DPRK’s unchanged position against terrorism and send firm support and solidarity to the government and people of Syria, who do not bow down to the challenges and threats of hostile forces, the text concludes.
