The author will present his novel about the March 4, 1960 attack on the French ship La Coubre in the port of Havana during a tour of seven cities in this country, organized by the National Association of Italy-Cuba Friendship (Anaic), according to a note published by that group.

France opened the secret archives on those events six decades after the explosions that destroyed the ship, killing some 100 people and injuring more than 200, which allowed Calvo Ospina to carry out an exhaustive investigation that proves the authorship of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

La Fábrica del Odio, according to this filmmaker, includes testimonies and archive materials that expose the media attacks against Cuba and its people, “under the protection of millionaire amounts of money allocated by successive U.S. administrations, campaigns that take advantage of the media reach of the digital era and the rise of social networks”.
