In a statement, the Foreign Ministry pointed out that it is closely following the events, which have worsened since October 7, and noted that through its Embassy in Tel-Aviv, it is preparing the evacuation of six Angolan citizens who are not residents in that country.
The press release added that these people will come home on a commercial flight from the capital of the State of Israel.
According to the Angolan Foreign Ministry, the remaining Angolans living in that country are safe and out of the areas affected by the conflict.
The Foreign Ministry took the opportunity to thank the Government of the Portuguese Republic for its total willingness to transport the Angolan citizens, adding that it will continue to monitor the evolution of the events.
