The compilation of the Che Guevara Collection, from the Ocean Sur publishing house, contains important letters such as the one he sent to Fidel, which became the spiritual heritage of millions of people in the world, according to critics.
Ernesto Guevara was leaving Cuba, because other lands in the world were demanding the help of his modest efforts. In addition to that letter, Che felt the need to say goodbye to his children, his parents and Aleida March, his life partner.
The promoters of the event in El Salvador pointed out that the book, published by Ocean Sur and the Che Guevara Study Center, shares the last lines that Che dedicated to his loved ones, accompanied by photographs and facsimiles.
Letters of Farewell also contains the last messages of a man who embraces us with revolutionary fervor. It is not a goodbye, in any case, until victory, forever, one review said.
The Che Guevara Collection is composed of books in Spanish and English that make Ernesto Guevara’s life, thought and theoretical-practical and ethical legacy known internationally.
