In this meeting, which is also an opportune moment for debates, tastings and exchanges among experts in this interesting world of wines, foreign wineries, especially Spanish ones, are present.
One of the examples came from Havana Club International S.A., exhibiting the Spanish brand Campo Viejo, which seduced delegates and guests.
During the presentation of five of its best wines, held in the hotel’s Vedado Room, Havana Club’s national sales and marketing director, Ahmed Álvarez, said that although the company does not have a wine catalogue (its reason is Cuban rum), it exhibits certain imported brands from Pernod Ricard.
Havana Club International is a mixed company created in 1993, with the participation of the producer of CubaRon and the French marketing company Pernod Ricard.
The executive admitted that they also market five products from that particular product line that they are promoting in the Cuban market, such as the Campo Viejo white wine.
