The United States tends to increasingly apply regulations to hinder imports to protect domestic production, Ngoc Hung said in an interview with VNA. Such measures include strict technical barriers, frequent additional regulations, intensive investigations, and the imposition of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties, he pointed out.
Referring to Vietnam’s products under investigation, Ngoc Hung said they are diverse, ranging from leading export industries such as steel, wood, aquatic products, textiles, and tires to others with low sales volumes such as honey, lawn mowers, and woven bags.
