In the framework of the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese Embassy and local authorities celebrated the relations that has allowed bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

Chinese Ambassador to El Salvador, Zhang Yanhui, praised the five years of relations between the two nations and congratulated President Nayib Bukele for changes his Government promoted, especially security improvements, Diario El Salvador reported.

The Supreme Court of Justice President Óscar López Jerez, Vice President Félix Ulloa, and Deputy Foreign Minister Adriana Mira attended the celebration of China’s National Day.

The Chinese representative pointed out that high-level exchanges, such as the visit made by President Bukele to his counterpart Xi Jinping, have taken place at this stage, which has allowed cooperation to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, among other ongoing actions.
